Guidelines

So you want to submit a story to the SMRFF Archives?

Well there are a couple of rules you should know first.

#1. We the archivists are not your slaves so . . . we will not
a. wrap things for you
b. spell check
c. correct your mistakes
d. give you massages for hand cramps ^_~

#2. In order to have your story appear in the archive it must be in text format
and we would prefer that it appear in the standard lined format of 70 characters
per line. If your story doesn't follow that format we'll just post your story anyway
and golly gee won't you look silly?
Also, if you submit a fic to us in html format we will promptly ignore it. ^^;;
We want this archive to be all text. To make up for our 'prejudice' we will however
happily supply a link to your story and your page, albeit you must be a SMRFF member.

#3. We will post all stories that are sent through the SMRFF mailing list UNLESS you put
DNA in the header. This means DO NOT ARCHIVE and we will listen to you.

#4. All complaints, comments, compliments should be sent to smrff.archive@gmail.com.
Once more that's smrff.archive@gmail.com. Anything sent anywhere other than
smrff.archive@gmail.com that is archive specific will be disreguarded.
This message will self destruct in . . . ^^;;

#5. IF you have a fic that has nothing to do with Usagi and Mamoru romance
BUT you still want to see it up in our archives send it to smrff.archive@gmail.com
that's smrff.archive@gmail.com care of stories unlisted.
That is where we will put all stories without Usa Mamo romance.

#6. The in the spotlight section of the archive pertains to members only.
If you are a member and you have written a fic in the past month you are eligible
to be in the spotlight. We do not take submissions to the spotlight although we
might listen to suggestions but only if you send them to smrff.archive@gmail.com  ^_^.

#7. If you have a fan pic, we want it! Send it to us at smrff.archive@gmail.com!

#8. The guestbook and the message boards are a luxury provided by Bejiin. She may at
any moment kill these two items if she feels that
a: they are being abused (no cursing!)
or
b: they are being neglected. (no need to waste valuable space ^_~)

#9. All stories must have a title, your pen name, and an email address.   If there isn't at least the first two, then we hold all rights to ignore your story completely until you decide to put this information in the body of your email/in the story.  If you have any complaints about this, feel free to email us about it and we'll be sure to reply back to you with our reasons why we refuse to post up such fics.

#10. These rules are subject to modification or change at any time . . . it happens ^_~

If you're bored, confused, type-happy, whatever, feel free to send us a note at
smrff.archive@gmail.com
Otherwise, enjoy the archive!
