I'm a little like Klutz with this one--another song inspired me late at night. Some songs can be the best thing to give you inspiration, don't you agree? This fic is based off the song with the same title sung by Kenny Chesney, and I believe it was based on the movie "Jerry Maguire." So a little inspiration goes a long way, ne? Anyway, this is a very short fic from Darien's POV. (I do that a lot, I've noticed, but getting into his thoughts is as close as I can get to him. *sheepish grin*) So here I go again. You Had Me From Hello by Sailor Elysia One word. Who knew how one simple word could create such a wonderful feeling within me? All it took was that one word to come from her lips and I was completely gone. I didn't know her all too well before that day, but whenever I was at the arcade, I recalled seeing her there, either devouring a hot fudge sundae or engrossed in one of the video games. It was all I could do to hold in my laughter. If you're thinking I was laughing at her, well you're wrong. I could never laugh at her, rather I was just simply amused at how she lived life one day at a time, how each passing minute she had a smile constantly on her lips. It wasn't just her words that took my breath away, you know. Her beauty was one that could rival that of an angel. I swear, all she was missing was a halo. Her long blond tresses shone like the setting sun, and her deep blue eyes sparkled like a mountain lake untouched by the wind. Ah, but now I'm getting mushy and sentimental. But I guess I can't help it when I'm near her. One look, even a slight glance into her eyes melted me into a puddle quick as lightning. I find it incredibly amazing how just her mere presence was enough to break down the walls that I've been building around myself for years. Finally, my dream came true. The day came when I bumped into her for the first time and the chance to speak to her revealed itself. She spoke first, and all she said was, "Hello." That's all it took. A huge wave of unexplainable emotions surged though me, and I knew I'd never be the same again. All I wanted now was to let her know how I felt about her. So I slowly opened my mouth, and. . . I called her meatball head.
